What should i expect from my first consultation?

New patients are scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes. This allows for a full case history to be taken. Acupuncture is a holistic approach which looks to treat the route cause of the problem and not just the symptoms so a thorough history may provide relevant information.

If possible, you should wear loose comfortable clothing to allow for needles to be placed on lower legs and lower arms.

You are likely to feel relaxed after your session and you may feel tired. This is a normal reaction, particularily if you haven’t had acupuncture before.
